Actuator
Repairs
As
one of Duff Norton's larger volume linear actuator distributors in Canada,
we offer our customers a repair service on Machine Screw , Ball Screw,
and Electromechanicals actuators. When contacting us for repair estimates,
please have the model number and serial number available
in order for us to provide an accurate estimate of repair cost. These numbers
are found on a plate rivited to the actuator housing. Numbers found on
units prefixed with the letters SK are part numbers only, and are are not
adequate for unit identification. As actuators are made to order items
with dozens of model variations, please schedule your actuator overhauls
allowing 3-4 weeks lead time. Fot those customers with facilities to do
their own repairs, please provide part Index No's, and Part Names
from the actuator's maintenance manual, along with the serial and model
numbers, when ordering parts.
Coolant
Pump Repairs
We
are a stocking distributor of Graymills pumps and repair parts.
We repair both single and multi-stage centrifugal coolant pumps. When ordering
pump parts please state the pump model number and operating voltage, found
on the Graymills label attached to the motor body. The Installation,
Operation, and Maintrnance Instructions provided with your pump will
have a generic sketch of your pump complete with a repair parts list which
uses a Ref.# , Part #, and Discription to identify the pump parts. When
installing a new or repaired pump, always arrange three phase wiring to
see that the impellor rotation is correct before putting theunit
back into service. Keep in mind that multi-stage centrifugal pumps
are not self priming, and should always be installed with as many stages
as possible submerged in liquid. When installing high volume pumps, make
sure the volume of your coolant tank is adequate to prevent the pump from
running dry before coolant begins to flow back from the cooling circuit.
